Plain Proposal by Beth Wiseman

Booksneeze has Provided Me with A Complimentary Copy of this Book.

Miriam Raber enjoys life in her Old Order Amish community, and she is hopeful that Saul Fisher will propose to her soon. But when Saul starts talking about leaving the only world either of them has ever known, Miriam imagines what her life might be like as an Englischer. One thing she knows for certain, she loves Saul and feel he's the one God has chosen for her. But Saul's indecision has come at an inconvenient time as Miriam is noticing advances from Jesse Dienner, a man she went to school with and who wants to marry. Complicating matters is the arrival of Miriam's cousin, Madison, a worldly Englisch girl sent to live with Miriam's family following trouble back home. Who will Miriam choose a life with-and who will choose to stay in the Old Order Amish community?

I thought this book was GREAT just like all the other books I have read by Beth Wiseman. She is one of the GREATEST authors who write about the Amish.

This Book is Book 4 in the Daughters of the Promise Series. This book is mainly about Miriam Raber and Saul Fisher, who have known each other since childhood. Miriam wants to stay in the Old Order Amish and Saul wants to leave to be a Chef in a nice restaurant. This book shows how much giving and taking there is in a relationship. I was a little bit disappointed in one part of the book but that is just me. If I tell you what it is, then I would spoil it for you. Haha.

I thoroughly loved this book and it was so hard for me to put down, but then every book I have read by Beth Wiseman, I am like that. I hope you will decide to pickup this book and read it for yourself. I would suggest this book to all my family, friends or whoever loves the Amish as much as I do.

Harvest House Publishing has Provided Me with A Complimentary Copy of this Book.

Bobbie McIntyre dreams of running a ranch of her own. Raised without a mother and having spent most of her time around men, she knows more about wrangling than acting like a lady. The friendship of her new employer awakens a desire to learn more about presenting her feminine side, but ranch life keeps getting in the way.

Ranch owner Jace Kincaid figures the Lord is testing his faith when a female wrangler shows up looking for work. Bobbie has an uncanny way of getting under his skin, though, and he's surprised when she finds a home next to his heart. But when his cattle begin to go missing and his wranglers are in danger from some low-down cattle thief, can Jace trust God, even if it may mean giving up on his dreams?

This book is a GREAT book and one you will enjoy if you like the Wild West and Action. This is the first book that I have read by Janelle Mowery and it won’t be the last. It has action in it from the beginning to the End.

Bobbie McIntyre dreams of owning her own ranch until she arrives on Jace Kinkaid’s ranch. She is one of the best hired hands that Jace has. But then Jace falls for Bobbie even though there are a lot of problems. Bobbie is held at gunpoint, and is accused of bank robbery and there is cattle rustling going on and then danger befalls Bobbie, Jace and some of the hired hands.

It is a book that I wish would have gone on and on and not ended. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I hope you will enjoy this book as much as I have. I will definitely be waiting for the next one.

Booksneeze has provided me with a copy of What the Heart Sees by Kathleen Fuller.

This book has 3 short stories (Novellas)about the Amish. I love to read about the Amish and these stories are GREAT. I would suggest everyone to pick up this book and read them.

I thoroughly loved it, it is a GREAT read for people who love the Amish stories as much as I do.

The stories are as follows: A Miracle for Miriam, A Place of His Own and What the Heart Sees, but my favorite one is A Miracle for Miriam. Miriam was hurt by Seth when she was little, but then years later, Miriam sees Seth again. She has forgiven him but can she forget? This is an excellent read.

A Place of His own is a Great story as well. Josiah leaves Paradise the first time but now he has returned. Amanda realizes this and it is hard for her to accept, this would be a wonderful read for everyone.

What the Heart Sees is about Ellie Chupp decides to never love again after she loses her sight in an accident. But, Chris Miller comes home after 5 years when he was involved in a tragedy. It is wonderful seeing how Ellie and Chris get together.

I loved all these stories very much and I would suggest these books to everyone.
